Basic course objective:
At the completion of this 2-day course, you will understand how to create and support a relational database with Helix RADE. You will learn how to modify your Helix database by adding fields and calculations to the database and new entry forms and reports.
This class covers what is needed to create a Macintosh application and add commands to the menubar. We also discuss what is meant by client-server, its inherent security issues, and how to make an application appealing to users.
Advanced capabilities of Helix are also covered. These topics include document management, sequences, posting, and conditional sequences.
The course format is a mixture of lecture, discussion, and step-by-step exercises, and it is appropriate for all but the most advanced Helix application developers.
