How Do Teams Make Good Decisions?

How does your team make decisions?

Teams are designed to work together. Part of that means making decisions, because teams are supposed to make better decisions than individuals. But when the team doesn’t use a rational process to guide its decision-making, it risks a strong personality leading the members to a bad choice and the others just going along, thinking that they’re being good team players. This 90-minute topic will take one or more teams through a decision-making exercise and demonstrate the rational method for making good decisions.

Key Topics:

  • The advantage to making decisions as a team.
  • How to gain consensus
  • The six-step process to make rational, good decisions.
  • Optional 20-minute add: How to avoid making bad decisions.
